The sensors and accessories in this system communicate via a code rotating RF signal. This makes it almost impossible for burglars to crack the system. Our tests showed that the transmission range of these sensors outperformed even the long range wireless sensors from the X10 security system sold elsewhere in this catalog. Approximate RF transmission range is up to 100 ft. depending on building construction.

The following are features standard in the basic 5 piece starter kit:
Keypad Security Code Disarming. Arm and disarm the system by entering a user programmable 3 digit security code on the keypad. The system accepts both a master and a guest password. The guest password disarms the system but does not provide access to programming features. This feature is ideal for housekeepers, kids and guests. Additional remote keypads can be added to the system in convenient locations as desired.

At Home Perimeter Arming: Feel secure when you are home and when you sleep at night with perimeter arming. This feature arms all perimeter door/window sensors (and any other sensors that you want armed) but leaves the interior motion detectors off. Occupants are able to walk around the house while being secure from outside intrusion. You can choose which sensors are selectively armed in the at home mode by assigning it to the appropriate zone.

Panic Trigger: Pressing the panic button on the included keychain remote instantly sounds the alarm. Use this in an emergency situation or to provide security to children and elderly members of the family. An optional water resistant single button keychain remote that can be worn continuously is available.

Delayed and Instant Zones: Up to 15 sensors may be used with the system assigned to one of 4 zones. Two of the zones are delayed zones. In these zones there is a delay before the alarm is sounded to enable you to enter the house to disarm the system. In the two instant zones, the alarm will sound as soon as a break-in is detected.
